Celle-ci constitue le point de d\u00e9part du plan d\u00e9cennal de la province visant \u00e0 garantir aux N\u00e9o-Brunswickois l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des logements s\u00fbrs, abordables et sains. Ce plan vise \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer des retomb\u00e9es maximales au cours des prochaines ann\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>Ses principes directeurs nous encouragent \u00e0 cr\u00e9er des partenariats solides entre tous les ordres de gouvernement et les secteurs priv\u00e9 et \u00e0 but non lucratif. Le secteur de l\u2019habitation coop\u00e9rative est pr\u00eat et dispos\u00e9 \u00e0 devenir un partenaire d\u00e9vou\u00e9 en vue de construire des logements s\u00fbrs et abordables pour tous au Nouveau-Brunswick et dans l\u2019ensemble de la r\u00e9gion de l\u2019Atlantique.<\/p>\n<p>Nous nous r\u00e9jouissons notamment des engagements \u00e9nonc\u00e9s dans le plan visant \u00e0 mettre les terrains exc\u00e9dentaires du gouvernement \u00e0 la disposition du logement abordable et \u00e0 financer les r\u00e9parations des coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation. En voici quelques exemples\u00a0:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mise \u00e0 disposition des biens exc\u00e9dentaires de l\u2019\u00c9tat pour la construction de logements abordables;<\/li>\n<li>Vingt et un\u00a0millions\u00a0de dollars pour r\u00e9parer 2\u00a0750\u00a0logements coop\u00e9ratifs et \u00e0 but non lucratif.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>La FHCC se r\u00e9jouit de l\u2019occasion de faire cro\u00eetre le secteur de l\u2019habitation coop\u00e9rative au Nouveau-Brunswick. Cela est possible gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019am\u00e9nagement de nouveaux sites et \u00e0 l\u2019acquisition de b\u00e2timents locatifs existants. Alors que la province proc\u00e8de \u00e0 l\u2019examen des terrains exc\u00e9dentaires susceptibles d\u2019\u00eatre c\u00e9d\u00e9s aux municipalit\u00e9s ou au secteur \u00e0 but non lucratif, nous sommes pr\u00eats \u00e0 discuter des sites susceptibles d\u2019accueillir des coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation. Les coop\u00e9ratives constituent une solution abordable et permanente, et nous continuerons \u00e0 collaborer avec la province afin d\u2019augmenter le nombre de logements coop\u00e9ratifs et abordables.<\/p>\n<p>La r\u00e9alit\u00e9 est que de nombreuses personnes et familles au Nouveau-Brunswick ont du mal \u00e0 payer leur logement. Cette nouvelle strat\u00e9gie provinciale en mati\u00e8re de logement constitue une \u00e9tape importante dans la r\u00e9solution de la crise du logement au Nouveau-Brunswick. Or, nos membres de coop\u00e9ratives ont \u00e9galement besoin d\u2019une aide \u00e0 la location \u00e0 long terme pour garantir leur s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et leur accessibilit\u00e9 financi\u00e8re.<\/p>\n<p>Cela constitue l\u2019un des objectifs de la strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de logement\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Aider les N\u00e9o-Brunswickois \u00e0 faible revenu \u00e0 rester dans leur logement actuel\u00a0\u00bb. C\u2019est pourquoi nous aimerions avoir plus de clart\u00e9 sur la fa\u00e7on dont la nouvelle prestation pour le loyer vers\u00e9e directement au locataire, avec une contribution annuelle de 22\u00a0millions de dollars, pourrait avoir une incidence sur nos membres de coop\u00e9ratives \u00e0 faibles revenus qui ont besoin d\u2019une aide \u00e0 la location.<\/p>\n<p>Enfin, la FHCC f\u00e9licite la province du Nouveau-Brunswick et la ministre du D\u00e9veloppement social, Jill\u00a0Green, qui est \u00e9galement ministre responsable de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 d\u2019habitation du Nouveau-Brunswick, pour l\u2019\u00e9laboration de cette strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de logement. Les coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation du Nouveau-Brunswick, telles que la <a href=\"https:\/\/fhcc.coop\/success-stories\/unified-saint-john-housing-co-op\/\">Unified Saint John Housing Co-operative<\/a>, constituent un \u00e9l\u00e9ment cl\u00e9 de la solution en mati\u00e8re de logement abordable.
