La FHCC travaille d\u2019arrache-pied pour faire la promotion des investissements dans l\u2019habitation coop\u00e9rative et ainsi la faire cro\u00eetre et la soutenir. Cette semaine, nous avons formul\u00e9 des recommandations en vue du budget f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de\u00a02023 et du budget de l\u2019Ontario de\u00a02023.<\/p>\n

Ces recommandations expliquent comment construire plus de logements coop\u00e9ratifs pour r\u00e9soudre la crise du logement, accro\u00eetre les programmes de soutien aux coop\u00e9ratives existantes et soutenir des solutions de logement dirig\u00e9es par les Autochtones.<\/p>\n

Recommandations pour le budget f\u00e9d\u00e9ral\u00a0\u2013 La solution en mati\u00e8re de logement r\u00e9silient du Canada\u00a0: lancer la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Voici les quatre\u00a0points principaux de nos recommandations pour le budget f\u00e9d\u00e9ral de\u00a02023\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. \n
      \n
    1. Lancer le Programme de d\u00e9veloppement des coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation<\/strong>. Annonc\u00e9 en\u00a02022, ce programme est le premier programme f\u00e9d\u00e9ral d\u00e9di\u00e9 au soutien au d\u00e9veloppement de nouvelles coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation en plus de 30\u00a0ans. Il est temps de lancer ce programme pour commencer \u00e0 b\u00e2tir de nouvelles coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation partout au Canada.<\/li>\n
    2. Financer la Strat\u00e9gie sur le logement des Autochtones en milieux urbain, rural et nordique. <\/strong>La FHCC soutient les fournisseurs de logements autochtones et leur vision d\u2019une approche adapt\u00e9e et dirig\u00e9e par les Autochtones qui peut offrir du financement, des formations et des pratiques exemplaires. Toute notion de r\u00e9conciliation est incompl\u00e8te sans logements ad\u00e9quats, et les Autochtones du Canada sont pr\u00eats \u00e0 diriger la conception, la construction et l\u2019exploitation de nouvelles solutions, et nous les appuyons compl\u00e8tement.<\/li>\n
    3. Doubler l\u2019offre de logements non priv\u00e9s et stabiliser les programmes d\u2019aide au loyer pour les personnes \u00e0 faible revenu. <\/strong>Le Canada conna\u00eet un d\u00e9ficit important de l\u2019offre de logements non priv\u00e9s, qui est \u00e0 l\u2019origine de notre crise d\u2019itin\u00e9rance actuelle. Nous devons maintenant redoubler d\u2019efforts pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui et de demain. Les coop\u00e9ratives fournissent une aide au loyer importante aux m\u00e9nages \u00e0 faible revenu, et nous ne pouvons pas laisser ces programmes dispara\u00eetre en\u00a02028.<\/li>\n
    4. Cr\u00e9er un fonds national d\u2019acquisition de logements abordables.<\/strong> En aidant les organismes sans but lucratif et le secteur de l\u2019habitation coop\u00e9rative \u00e0 acheter des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s locatives priv\u00e9es existantes qui sont \u00e0 vendre, nous pourrons pr\u00e9server et am\u00e9liorer les options de logements locatifs au Canada.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
