CHF Canada made four submissions in response to the consultations to support the preservation and growth of affordable housing in Ontario.<\/p>\n<p>You can check out our submissions made in December on our <a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/advocacy\/policy-documents\/\">policy documents page<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/CHF-Canada-Submission-on-Proposed-Planning-Act-and-Development-Charges-Act-Changes.pdf\">Submission on proposed\u00a0<em>Planning Act<\/em>and\u00a0<em>Development Charges Act<\/em><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/CHF-Canada-submission-on-A-Place-to-Grow-and-the-Provincial-Policy-Statement.pdf\">Submission on A Place to Grow and the Provincial Policy Statement<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/CHF-Canada-Inclusionary-Zoning-Submission.pdf\">Submission on inclusionary zoning<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/CHF-Canada-comments-on-Municipal-Rental-Replacement-By-Laws.pdf\">Comments on Municipal Rental Replacement by-laws<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In November we also\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/bill-23-more-homes-built-faster-act-opportunities-and-concerns-for-affordable-housing-in-ontario\/\">posted about a portion of t<\/a>he new Act, which will eliminate development charges for co-ops and non-profits.
