Les progressistes-conservateurs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9\u00e9lus avec un gouvernement majoritaire, alors que 66\u00a0p. cent des \u00e9lecteurs ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la premi\u00e8re \u00e9lection tenue au Canada pendant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19.  La FHCC a poursuivi ses d\u00e9marches et communiqu\u00e9 avec les membres des coop\u00e9ratives pendant cette \u00e9lection. Nous croyons que les investissements dans l\u2019habitation coop\u00e9rative peuvent b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier \u00e0 la province de nombreuses fa\u00e7ons, notamment en soutenant une population vieillissante et en rendant plus attrayant pour les jeunes familles et les nouveaux arrivants de demeurer dans des coop\u00e9ratives et de b\u00e2tir des communaut\u00e9s fortes.  Nous avons envoy\u00e9 des cartes postales pour rappeler aux membres de penser \u00e0 l\u2019habitation coop\u00e9rative lorsqu\u2019ils votent, et recommand\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/fhcc.coop\/faites-campagne-pour-promouvoir-lhabitation-cooperative-durant-les-elections-au-nouveau-brunswick-le-14-septembre\/\">des questions que les membres pourraient poser \u00e0 leurs candidats locaux<\/a>.  Nous avons \u00e9galement publi\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/chfcanada.coop\/news\/new-brunswick-needs-co-operative-housing-solutions-now\/\">un article d\u2019opinion dans le <em>Telegraph-Journal<\/em><\/a>, le journal du Nouveau-Brunswick. Dans cet article, le directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral Tim Ross a \u00e9crit : \u00ab\u2009Les coop\u00e9ratives peuvent fournir exactement ce dont la province a besoin. Les options de logement en propri\u00e9t\u00e9 partag\u00e9e, comme les coop\u00e9ratives d\u2019habitation, peuvent soutenir une population vieillissante et rendre plus attrayant pour les jeunes familles et les nouveaux arrivants de vivre dans des logements abordables au sein de communaut\u00e9s plus fortes.  Nous avons h\u00e2te de collaborer avec le gouvernement r\u00e9\u00e9lu du Nouveau-Brunswick afin de poursuivre ses programmes de soutien au loyer et de plaider en faveur d\u2019un bon partenariat avec le gouvernement provincial et nos coop\u00e9ratives membres.
